The Journey Continues: 1993-1998

After a period of interim ministry, the Rev. John G. McFayden was called as our senior pastor in October 1993.  We continued to grow as a result of John’s inspired preaching and leadership gifts. During his tenure we added a third worship service. We also opened our doors to the children of the area with the advent of Little Hands Preschool in September 1994.  To this day, our preschool provides an environment of love and support where children can grow to become healthy and contributing members of society, while developing an awareness of God in their lives.

We increased our staff in November 1996 with the addition of an Associate Pastor position. This allowed us to expand and develop areas of ministry, to include pastoral care, leadership for educational programs, small groups, and mission trips to Sonora, Mexico.
